Take a look at the Agent FAQ (under Forum FAQs on the left). There are a couple of articles on agent security with screen shots of what you need to set up - and how to make sure that you don't up security holes. Agent FAQ has a section on security so I would start perusing from there.

If you are using R6, also take a look at the most recent article of mine which covers the new security features, which are not covered in the previous articles. Agent FAQ has a direct link to that as well.
